All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Camp Families,
My name is Lynne Elsasser and I am looking forward to being the camp director at Myers Park Country Club this summer! I am a teacher with more than 20 years of experience and have been involved in camp as a camper, counselor, and most recently, as a director.
I was born in South Africa and credit my education as the driving force behind how I was able to live and work on three continents (Africa, Europe and North America) and my ability to touch the lives of numerous students. I have completed a Doctorate in Education and hold certifications in Yoga, NLP, CBT, Life Coaching and Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy as well as TEFL and TESOL Certifications.
I love to sing (I am a trained singer), dance (18 years as a dance teacher) and act (I've even run my own Children’s Theater Company). I speak multiple languages and play the piano. I look forward to sharing these passions with you all this summer, as well as our numerous other camp activities!
See you at camp!
