Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:
Payments, Cancellations, Refunds
Registration & Payments
Registration for Summer 2022 is open and will continue until we are full. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.
Full payment is due upon registration. This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $42 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover. We encourage all families to pay via ACH as all credit card transactions will be subject to a 2.5% surcharge to offset the cost of credit card processing.
If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!
Cancellations & Refunds
All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellations made by June 5, 2022 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee). After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Camp Families,
I am super excited to announce that I, Christina DeRosier, will be your KE Camp Director this summer! This is my first summer as your camp director, but I assure that my experience with children ages 5-10 is extensive. I have been a Talented Theatre Teacher in St. Tammany Parish schools for the last 15 years. I have led theatre camps throughout the years, developed and held yoga camps for kids, and directed numerous children’s theatrical productions. My greatest joy comes from watching kids surprise themselves with new found skills and confidence. I hold a B.A. in Communications and an M.A. in Theatre.
My favorite season in LA is summer (minus the mosquitos)! We are so lucky to be surrounded by water, sunshine, and long days to spend outdoors with friends and family. I have fond memories of being a camper myself. My favorite part of camp was making new friends and discovering my own skills and talents! I know that you, too, will have some awesome opportunities to learn new skills, make new friends, and discover your unique skills and talents through a variety of planned activities.
I love traveling with my family, hanging out (sometimes exercising) at our health club, swimming, practicing yoga, working on jigsaw puzzles, snuggling up with our three cats (Isaac, Mr. Snuggles, and Ginger Kate), and riding bikes on The St. Tammany Trace with my eight-year-old son, Paul.
I can’t wait to spend time with you this summer learning, growing, and making great memories!
If I had a camp nickname it would be: Dancing DeRosier! (Can you guess why?)
Favorite Food: Spinach pie! I love Greek food!
Fun Fact: I was in a Cox Cable commercial and my hair had to stand straight up like I was being “blown away” by the internet speed!
I never leave home without: My phone! I always need Google Maps!
Best advice I’ve been given: Dare to fail!
Camp activity I’m most excited about: Anything STEAM related, theatre games, and getting to know YOU!
