Club Registration Requirements
If you are not a Club Member of West Shore Country Club, you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with West Shore Day Camp in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows West Shore Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.
Age Range: 5 - 11
All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Covid-19 Safety Policy
As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.
We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly! We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
My name is Mandi Betts, and I am the new camp director at West Shore Country Club! I am so excited to work with you and your children this summer and have many fun activities planned!
FUN, FUN, FUN!! I love to have fun, and am very excited to be taking a position where I get to continue working with children outside the normal school year! I currently teach Learning Support Geometry and Algebra at Cumberland Valley High School, where I collaborate with students and families to ensure they are receiving the best kind of education. After graduating high school, I believed I wanted to work in music because of my love for singing. Two years into college, I decided that my passion for children and teaching went far beyond my love for music. I immediately switched to Shippensburg University, where I received my bachelor's in General and Special Education. Currently, I am attending Shippensburg again for my master's in Literacy, Reading, and Technology!
As a young child myself, I loved going to camp. Camp was where I made friends and learned new things. Each year I went, I knew I would love to work at camp someday and potentially be the reason why children wanted to come back! I have been involved in various mission trips with churches, leading different arts and sports camps. Working with children was the highlight of these experiences, as we helped make a positive difference in their lives by the end camp.
I am dedicated to making sure your child has the best time at camp, and that they leave with a smile on their face. My main goal is for your child to want to come back next year and bring their friends. I plan to participate in everything that I possibly can, fostering a great relationship with all campers. I am most looking forward to teaching the children the importance of community service, teamwork, and having the children teach ME how to golf! I love letting children show me what they’ve learned, especially when they are excited, which is what I plan to achieve during camp. I am so excited to meet you, and give your child the best summer experience they can possibly have! Start the camp countdown!
