The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp Glen Flora in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows Glen Flora Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.
Age Range: 5 - 11
All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Activities
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a kid-friendly lunch (Tuesday – Friday) to those campers who choose to purchase it for $30 per week. If you would like the lunch provided by the club, you may purchase it at the time of enrollment. Please remember to pack a lunch for your child on Mondays. If you prefer, you may pack a lunch for your child each day of the week.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Packing List
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Registration & Payments
Registration for Summer 2022 is open and will continue until we are full. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.
Full payment is due upon registration. This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $42 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH Payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover. We encourage all families to pay via ACH as all credit card transactions will be subject to a 2.5% surcharge to offset the cost of credit card processing.
If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!
Cancellations & Refunds
All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at info@kecamps.com. Cancellations made by June 12, 2022 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee). After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.

Meet Your Camp Director

Dear Camp Families,
My name is Maria Murillo, and I have the pleasure to be your 2022 camp director! I am excited to share my summer days with all of you at camp. Some of you may remember me from 2018, when I was the camp director at Glen Flora - I am so happy to be back!
I am a mother to two children (ages 3 and 5), as well as our French Bulldog. Currently, I am a part-time nanny in sunny Marco Island, Florida. During the winter months you can find me in Florida, and in the summer, I travel back to Illinois where I was born. I have experience working with children of all ages, including at my local YMCA as an after-school director and preschool teacher. I am passionate about my work and always strive to be the best I can be and give each child the love and care they deserve. I am looking forward to creating memories that will last a lifetime in both your child and myself this summer!
For me, working with children represents hope for a better tomorrow and inspiration to be a better person today. I truly admire a child's imagination and their capabilities to think outside of the box. I enjoy helping kids develop social skills in a safe and caring environment that promotes learning in a fun and exciting way. As your child's camp director, my goal is to give them a memorable summer at camp with friends! I am looking forward to creating memories that will last a lifetime.
See you soon!
Maria Murillo
