Activities
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
You have the option to purchase a kid-friendly lunch provided by the club for $30 per week. If you would like to purchase this optional lunch, you can do so at the time of enrollment. Please inform your Camp Director if you plan to have your child stay to eat.

Registration & Payments
Registration for Summer 2022 is open to Club Members and their Accompanied Guests. Registration will continue until we are full. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.
Full payment is due upon registration. We accept ACH Payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover. We encourage all families to pay via ACH as all credit card transactions will be subject to a 2.5% surcharge to offset the cost of credit card processing.
If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!
Cancellations & Refunds
All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at info@kecamps.com. Cancellations made by June 12, 2022 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee). After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.

Meet Your Camp Director

Dear Camp Families,
I don’t know about you, but when I look outside and see that rainy spring weather it gets me thinking of one thing…I can’t wait for bright shiny days when we all get to be at camp! My name is Johnathan Brenner and I’m going to be the director of Shark Camp at the Lake Forest Club for the 2022 summer season. While this is my first year here, I’ve been working with children for my entire career! Currently, I am a school psychologist/ administrator and have master’s degrees in Educational Psychology and Educational Leadership. I love working with children of all ages, watching them grow and learn, and helping them achieve their goals.
I have three children (humans) and three fur babies (dogs) at home and enjoy spending as much time with both as I can. I love watching and playing sports - baseball is my favorite! Going to camp was always my favorite thing about summer when I was growing up.
This summer is going to be great and I’m looking forward to meeting every one of you! I am so excited to watch the campers learn and grow and I am always available for questions, concerns or to share how much fun everyone is having!
Looking forward to the best summer ever!
Johnathan Brenner
