Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Wacky Wednesdays

Every Wednesday at camp is a wacky one with a different festive theme – a true highlight of each week! Check out this summer’s Wacky Wednesday Calendar!

Thankful Thursdays

We are excited to announce the return of Thankful Thursdays into our camp program! In true camp spirit, every Thursday campers will have the chance to give back to their community by working together on a simple, fun and rewarding community service project. Check out this summer’s Thankful Thursday Calendar!

Lunch & Snacks

The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.

Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp.   We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts.   Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts.   If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Packing List

KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Payments, Cancellations, Refunds

Registration & Payments

Registration for Summer 2021 is open and will continue until we are full. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.

Full payment is due upon registration.  This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH Payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!

Cancellations & Refunds

All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at info@kecamps.com.  Cancellations made by June 14, 2021 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee).   After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.

Covid-19 Safety Policy

As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.

We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly!  We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Please find our 2021 Covid-19 Safety Policy here.

Meet Your Camp Director

Hello Campers and Families,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Jen Bajorek and I am the new camp director of KE Camps at Royal Melbourne Country Club! I can’t wait to meet you and begin a summer of fun.

The most important thing you should know about me is that I absolutely love working with children. I graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. I have also continued my studies and have a master’s in Education; more specifically, my master’s focus was on Autism Spectrum Disorders (Curriculum and Instruction). Not only have I emerged myself in learning about children, I also have devoted my career to it. I am currently an elementary teacher. I have been a third-grade teacher for over six years. I’m excited to bring my passion and experience to KE Camps this summer.

I truly believe summer camp is a time for children to explore hobbies and interests they have. It is also a time for kids to learn new things that are not focused so heavily around academics. This will be a chance for your child to try new activities, build relationships with peers, and most importantly be excited to have fun at camp each day!

A few other facts about me are that I love the outdoors. Quite often I am hiking, camping, and finding other adventures to try. I am also an avid runner. I am currently training for a marathon and have trained for many other events previously. Although I love being active, my dog is the exact opposite, so when I am not racing around, I love to spend time with my dog and my family.

I am very excited to bring new ideas and activities to camp this year. Please feel free at any point to reach out to me with questions or concerns. We will truly make this summer a memorable experience for your child. I can’t wait to meet all of you very soon!

With care,
Jen Bajorek
