Club Registration Requirements
If you are not a Club Member of Mesa Verde Country Club, you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with MVCC Day Camp in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows Mesa Verde Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.
Children of Club Members are given priority registration. After May 7, Grandchildren of Members may enroll. After June 7, Guests of Members may enroll.
Age Range: 5 - 12
All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Registration & Payments
Registration for Summer 2021 is open and will continue until we are full. So, you may add additional weeks as the summer goes on. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.
Full payment is due upon registration. This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH Payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!
Cancellations & Refunds
All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at email@example.com. Cancellations made by June 21, 2021 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee). After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.
Covid-19 Safety Policy
As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.
We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly! We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.
Mesa Verde Country Club offers additional kids summer programs! For details, contact the club directly or reference the helpful links below.

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
It’s my pleasure to meet you! My name is Minji. I was born and raised in Orange County, and have spent the last few years as a graduate student and teacher in Turkey. I have been a counselor in places as local as California and as far away as Armenia. This season, I am enthusiastic for the opportunity to be your KE Camps director.
I received my master’s degree in Cultural Studies from Bosphorus University in Istanbul, Turkey and my bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Psychology, with a minor in Spanish, from Pitzer College in Claremont, California. These experiences helped me in my leadership roles as a mind and body art workshop facilitator, art teacher’s assistant, creative writing tutor, and English language teacher in Turkey. My study abroad experiences in Ecuador and my Fulbright fellowship experience in Turkey have further developed a sense of intercultural understanding and diversity, which is important when teaching children about the world and cultivating their soft leadership skills. In my role as a behavior therapist and a personal care assistant, I work primarily with children and young adults with special needs and abilities. There is nothing more rewarding than helping these individuals recognize their potential; I am lucky to have a job in which I can help children strive toward their personal goals with creativity and confidence.
I always seek to take learning outside of the classroom setting. I like digging for bugs in the dirt, not learning about them in books! After five years abroad in Turkey, I returned to California and started my Occupational Therapy doctorate degree through Boston University, and have been a full-time remote student for the past year. I can empathize with your kids in knowing all about the Zoom fatigue, which makes me all the more excited for camp! At the same time, I am excited to be in Boston come Fall to resume classes in-person, and to uncover more of my child-at-heart in exploring this new city while finishing off my doctoral studies in occupational therapy.
Apart from these roles, I take time to nourish my mental health. Being active outdoors is one of my favorite ways to do this - swimming in saltwater, running along the sand, or hiking in a lush canyon. I also cherish the art of photography, reading literature, and writing poetry and travel stories.
Every time I partake in a camp experience, I walk away with a bundle of memories in handmade picture frames, with photos of campers and counselors, glimmering with smiles. Camp is a place where a child’s sense of wonder is encouraged and expanded. In my role as director, I will do my best to match this wonder with answers that open up
their doors of opportunity. I am excited to meet you in this warm and memorable summer to come!
