Club Registration Requirements

Camp registration is open to The Westmoor Club Members only at this time.

A member is an individual with a membership number.  Memberships include children and grandchildren that are under the age of 35.

Age Range: 3 - 8

All campers must be at least 3 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle an active program.

Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

For more information on the tennis lessons at camp, please click here.

Tennis: 2 recreational group sessions each week (Summer 2020: Pickleball!)
Swimming: recreational swim time in the club's pool on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
Arts & Crafts
Group Games
Fun with Foods
Super Science Projects
Yoga: 1 group lesson each week

Wacky Wednesdays

Every Wednesday at camp is a wacky one with a different festive theme – a true highlight of each week! Check out this summer’s Wacky Wednesday Calendar!

Thankful Thursdays

We are excited to announce the return of Thankful Thursdays into our camp program! In true camp spirit, every Thursday campers will have the chance to give back to their community by working together on a simple, fun and rewarding community service project. Check out this summer’s Thankful Thursday Calendar!

Lunch & Snacks

The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each morning to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.

Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp.   We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts.   Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts.   If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Packing List

KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Covid-19 Safety Policy

As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.

We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly!  We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Please find our 2021 Covid-19 Safety Policy here.

Meet Your Camp Director

Dear Westmoor Campers and Families,

We are Brittany and Thomas Sigler and we will be your Directors again this summer! We are very excited to return to Nantucket for another adventure at The Westmoor Club. Together, Thomas and I have over 20 years of teaching experience with a wide range of content areas and grade levels K-12. Thomas and I not only have a lot in common, but we also can be complete opposites which is how we balance one another as directors. For instance, I have the artistic sense and enjoy creating hands-on arts and crafts that are play-based and often messy. While Thomas has the athleticism and likes designing interactive activities that build a physical and healthy mentality. This summer, we hope to continue to build strong relationships with our families while also making a fun and memorable experience for our campers.

Currently, Thomas and I live in Rochester, NY with our three-year-old border collie, Lily. Throughout the school year, we both work at East High School in the Rochester City School District. I am a special education instructional teacher leader and Thomas is an 8th grade math teacher and testing coordinator. I spend most of my day providing professional learning to teachers to help them develop high quality curriculum and instruction that best support our special education students. Thomas, on the other hand, spends half his day teaching students the foundations of Algebra and Geometry and the other half organizing and scheduling state-wide assessments. In turn, Thomas and I both hold leadership positions that support our students and teachers to be successful.

Like you, we also attended summer camp throughout our early childhood and enjoyed all the pleasures that camp had to offer. For example, almost every summer I went to the YMCA summer camp, while Thomas attended his local church camp. Thomas remembers going on hikes in the woods, catching crayfish in the creeks and playing relays in the fields. Whereas I recall coming home every day with an artifact I found or a craft I made for my mom. Overall, summer camp was an experience that we will both never forget as it allowed us to create lasting memories, cherished friendships, and explore our natural surroundings.

Thomas and I are not only passionate about teaching, but we also absolutely love the outdoors. We often go biking, kayaking, and running together and even completed a half marathon and triathlon side-by-side. At the same time, we also enjoy hiking, completing house renovations, and going camping in the Adirondacks. This past year, Thomas and I even celebrated our one year wedding anniversary hiking our 5th high peak and visiting the location where we got married Bald Mountain in Old Forge, NY. Overall, Thomas and I look forward to another summer with our campers doing scavenger hunts, water balloons, slip and slide, and slime!
