Club Registration Requirements
If you are not a Club Member of Fairwood Golf & Country Club, you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp Fairwood in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows Fairwood Golf & Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.
Guests of Members may enroll after April 1, provided spaces are still available.
Age Range: 5 - 11
All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Registration for Summer 2021 is open to Club Members only at this time. Should space remain available, Guests of Members may enroll after April 1. You may add additional weeks as the summer goes on. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.
Full payment is due upon registration. This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!
Cancellations & Refunds
All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at email@example.com. Cancellations made by June 20, 2021 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee). After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.
Covid-19 Safety Policy
As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.
We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly! We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Meet Your Camp Director
Hello & Hooray Campers,
What time is it?! It’s time to get outside and learn something new!!
My name is Mr. Jonathan, and I am proud to be the new director of Camp Fairwood 2021!
Your counselors are eager to meet you and we’re all excited to go on our summer camp adventure together at Fairwood Golf & Country Club.
Did you know our eyes can play tricks on us?! Well, I learned this while studying human sensation and perception (aka “psychophysics”) when I earned a master’s degree in Studio Art. An art history buff like myself enjoys studying epic sights and songs of the past to make visual music today. I’ve taught in public schools and on college campuses, sharing my passion for art with all ages, even presenting at elementary school career days and volunteering my time to judge county fair art shows.
I love working with kids and seeing them learn life lessons and skills that will help them reach their fullest potential. I value a supportive summer camp atmosphere where everyone is thrilled to share their passion for people, pets and plants. In fact, some of my favorite childhood memories are camp experiences where I reached for new heights in the safety of friends. I’ve led previous summer camps, classes, and workshops before, so there’s no need to stress, just remember to listen first and then do your best. If you do, we will make the most out of this summer extravaganza and keep camp a safe and fun environment.
Besides making and appreciating art, I find myself playing with my Australian cattle dog, Winston, jamming on my bass guitar, and practicing my not-too-shabby golf skills. My wife, Holly, and I like traveling, visiting water parks, museums, planetariums, zoos, aquariums, and public gardens, especially with our two kids.
Looking forward to a super fun and safe summer together at Camp Fairwood!
See you soon!
Mr. Jonathan Matteson
