Club Registration Requirements
If you are not a Club Member of Colonial Golf & Tennis Club, you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Colonial Day Camp in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows Colonial Golf & Tennis Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.
Activities
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Packing List
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Meet Your Camp Director

Dear Camp Families,
My name is Kiersten Edwards and I am the director of Colonial Day Camp at Colonial Golf & Tennis Club! I am so excited to meet you and have a fun filled summer!
A few things you should know about me: I admire kids and community. I am a kindergarten teacher, currently teaching in the Gettysburg Area School District. I know that summer is a time for children to grow, express their creativity, and create memories in a safe and exciting environment that will they will carry with them forever. Some of my favorite memories growing up are from the summer time, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to make more memories with you and your camper.
I have worked with children of all ages in many settings other than the classroom. I have coached children in gymnastics, field hockey, cheerleading and have volunteered my time to organizations that promote the growth of young learners and helping the community. I have experienced first-hand the impact that positive relationships between peers and adults have on a child’s life.
Alongside teaching, I enjoy reading, snuggling my cat, spending time with my family, and outdoor adventures. I love learning more about how I can connect communities with learners. I know that when there is a strong bond between community and learning, the opportunities are endless!
I am excited to serve as your director, and I am counting the days to meeting you!
See you at camp!
