Activities

Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

For more information on the golf and tennis lessons at camp, please click here.

Tennis: 2 recreational group lessons each week
Swimming: recreational swim time in the club’s pool each day

Wacky Wednesdays

Every Wednesday at camp is a wacky one with a different festive theme – a true highlight of each week! Check out this summer’s Wacky Wednesday Calendar!

Thankful Thursdays

We are excited to announce the return of Thankful Thursdays into our camp program! In true camp spirit, every Thursday campers will have the chance to give back to their community by working together on a simple, fun and rewarding community service project. Check out this summer’s Thankful Thursday Calendar!

Lunch & Snacks

The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch and snack for every camper each day.

Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp.   We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts.   Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts.   If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Full payment is due upon registration.  This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH Payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!

Cancellations made by June 14, 2021 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee).  After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.

Covid-19 Safety Policy

As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.

We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly!  We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Please find our 2021 Covid-19 Safety Policy here.

Meet Your Camp Director

Dear Campers and Families

My name is Cassie Anderson and I am going to be your camp director at Medinah Country Club this summer! This is my fifth year working as a camp director with KE Camps, as I previously worked at Itasca Country Club. I am so excited to be at Medinah this summer. I know we will have a lot of fun!

I graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2014 with an Elementary Education major and a Spanish minor. I have taught second, third, and fourth grades, in both general education and bilingual classrooms. Currently, I am a third-grade bilingual teacher in St. Charles and am finishing up the seventh year of teaching.

Besides being a teacher, I am also a cross-country coach. I fell in love with running when I was in high school and continued to participate in cross-country and track through college. Running is one of my favorite hobbies. I try to run at least 5 days a week. I also enjoy reading and art.

At camp this summer, we will participate in a variety of activities, like art, sports and STEM. I love working with children and helping them learn and try new things! I cannot wait for summer 2021!

I look forward to meeting you all soon.

Sincerely,

Cassie Anderson
