Activities

Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

For more information on the golf and tennis lessons at camp, please click here.

Wacky Wednesdays

Every Wednesday at camp is a wacky one with a different festive theme – a true highlight of each week! Check out this summer’s Wacky Wednesday Calendar!

Thankful Thursdays

We are excited to announce the return of Thankful Thursdays into our camp program! In true camp spirit, every Thursday campers will have the chance to give back to their community by working together on a simple, fun and rewarding community service project. Check out this summer’s Thankful Thursday Calendar!

Lunch & Snacks

The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. There will be a lunch charge of $25 per week per child. These charges will be billed to your club member account. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.

Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp.   We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts.   Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts.   If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Packing List

KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Extra Snacks (Optional)
Flotation Vest: If you know that your child will be classified as a Bogey (our term for Non-Swimmer) this summer or you prefer your child to be classified this way, please pack a flotation vest for use in the Shallow End of the pool.
Golf Clubs (Optional)
Sunscreen: Spray for body is preferred
Swimsuit
Tennis Racquet (Optional)

Payments, Cancellations, Refunds

Registration & Payments

Registration for Summer 2022 is open and will continue until we are full. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.

Full payment is due upon registration.  This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $42 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.  We encourage all families to pay via ACH as all credit card transactions will be subject to a 2.5% surcharge to offset the cost of credit card processing.

If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!

Cancellations & Refunds

All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at info@kecamps.com.  Cancellations made by June 13, 2022 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee).   After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.

Meet Your Camp Director

Dear Camp Families,

I’m Alexandra Jacobs and I am the camp director at Edgewood Valley Country Club! When I’m not at camp, I am a fifth through eighth science teacher, a coding and robotics teacher, and a math tutor. Seeing the “lightbulb moment,” when a struggling student achieves success, and when students are passionate about their learning are my favorite parts about teaching! Working with kids has always been my calling and I love being able to share in their successes!

I am beyond thrilled to be back at camp again! We’ve had an amazing two years and I can’t wait to see the campers back this summer. I know I’m going to especially enjoy our camp spirit whenever we do our Thankful Thursday projects and wacky diving competitions. I know the campers probably can’t wait for the staff versus campers water balloon contest, too!

See you soon!

Alexandra Jacobs

About me:

If I had a camp nickname it would be: Sunshine

Favorite Food: Chocolate

Fun Fact: I love to learn new languages! Right now, I’m working on learning some signs in ASL.

I never leave home without: At least one pen or pencil. You never know when you’ll need it!

Best advice I've been given: Either find a way, or make one.

Camp activity I'm most excited about: Everything! I do have a special place in my heart for STEM projects, though!
