The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp West Lake in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows West Lake Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.

Age Range: 5 - 12

All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.

Activities

Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

For more information on the golf lessons at camp, please click here.

Tennis: 2 recreational group lessons each week
Swimming: recreational swim time in the club’s pool each day

Wacky Wednesdays

Every Wednesday at camp is a wacky one with a different festive theme – a true highlight of each week! Check out this summer’s Wacky Wednesday Calendar!

Thankful Thursdays

We are excited to announce the return of Thankful Thursdays into our camp program! In true camp spirit, every Thursday campers will have the chance to give back to their community by working together on a simple, fun and rewarding community service project. Check out this summer’s Thankful Thursday Calendar!

Lunch & Snacks

You have the option to purchase a kid-friendly lunch provided by the club for $28 per week. If you would like to purchase this option, you may do so during online enrollment. Otherwise, you are welcome to pack a lunch for your child.

A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.

Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp.   We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts.   Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts.   If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Packing List

KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Payments, Cancellations, Refunds

Registration & Payments

Registration for Summer 2021 is open and will continue until we are full. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.

Full payment is due upon registration.  This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!

Cancellations & Refunds

All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at info@kecamps.com. Cancellations made by June 7, 2021 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee).  After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.

Covid-19 Safety Policy

As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.

We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly!  We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Please find our 2021 Covid-19 Safety Policy here.

Meet Your Camp Director

Dear Campers and Families,

My name is Zach Tinkham and I am the new KE Camps Director at West Lake Country Club! I am very excited to meet all of you and am looking forward to having an awesome summer!

Currently I am a volunteer assistant men’s basketball coach at Augusta University and have been since August 2020. Previously, I attended Marywood University in Scranton, PA from 2016-2020 and earned my Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education while playing on the men’s basketball team. I am originally from Connecticut which is where I attended high school and spent my summers working camps. I spent three summers as a camp counselor at Newington Parks and Recreation and one summer as the assistant site director. The camp consisted of about 100 children and I was in charge of developing arts and crafts for the children to complete along with activities for everyone to participate in. While in college, I worked many basketball camps at different colleges throughout the summers.

During my free time, I love to be outdoors and active which is why I love camp. I love all the different options camp gives you to engage with friends and be active at the same time! I have a dog named Bear who is very energetic and keeps me alert. It is always a great feeling to be able to come home at night and be greeted by your dog! My plan for my future is to be a head college basketball coach one day. I love what sports can do for a person outside of the actual sport itself. People make friends for life and learn skills that last a lifetime. I also have an arts and craft side to myself which makes camp perfect because we get to do both!

I am super excited for camp this summer. I look forward to meeting all of you and making this a memorable summer for everyone! We will be doing lots of fun and creative activities and I hope you are just as excited as I am!

See you at camp!

Zach Tinkham
