The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with PCC Day Camp in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows Pittsburgh Field Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.

Age Range: 4 - 10

All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.

Activities

Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

For more information on the golf and tennis lessons at camp, please click here.

Golf: 2 recreational group lessons each week
Tennis: 2 recreational group lessons each week
Swimming: recreational swim time in the club’s pool each day

Group Games

Wacky Wednesdays

Every Wednesday at camp is a wacky one with a different festive theme – a true highlight of each week! Check out this summer’s Wacky Wednesday Calendar!

Thankful Thursdays

We are excited to announce the return of Thankful Thursdays into our camp program! In true camp spirit, every Thursday campers will have the chance to give back to their community by working together on a simple, fun and rewarding community service project. Check out this summer’s Thankful Thursday Calendar!

Lunch & Snacks

The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each morning and afternoon to all campers.

Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp.   We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts.   Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts.   If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Packing List

KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Registration & Payments

Registration for Summer 2021 is open and will continue until we are full. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.

Full payment is due upon registration.  This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH Payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!

Cancellations & Refunds

All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at info@kecamps.com.  Cancellations made by June 21, 2021 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee).   After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.

Covid-19 Safety Policy

As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.

We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly!  We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Please find our 2021 Covid-19 Safety Policy here.

Meet Your Camp Director

Hello Campers and Families,

I am extremely excited to introduce myself as the director at KE Camps at Pittsburgh Field Club!

Currently, I am a middle school teacher at a private school in the Pittsburgh area. Here, I teach both English and social studies for grades six through eight. Along with these certifications, I am fortunate enough to also be certified to teach all subjects at the middle school level through my undergraduate degree from Duquesne University. I have held a position teaching middle school science and math as well. I have been told that I am a jack of all (middle school) trades!

Despite spending most of my time in a classroom (or ZOOM session), I have also worked at a before and after school enrichment program at a local public school. Through this position, I had the opportunity to work with students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The before and after school enrichment program is very similar to camp! In the program, I helped build social and emotional skills through organized activities and hands-on lessons. The main difference is that the school day is sandwiched in the middle of our program! I am extremely excited to bring over my experience from this enrichment program to a FULL DAY at KE Camps!

So, you may be wondering what led me to wanting to work with kids? Many people struggle to find what they want to do with their lives. I decided this early on due to an amazing child development program my high school offered. This path eventually led me to where I am today, but the road never ends! I am constantly looking for ways to develop myself and my career. This is what led me to KE Camps.

But, why camp? I have always loved the outdoors and experiencing life through different lenses. Whenever I have time, I love going fishing, metal detecting, and even bird-watching. I am excited to share my adventurous passions through all that camp has to offer! I cannot wait to meet all of you, and begin having a wonderful summer at KE Camps!

See you soon,

Christopher Clark
