Activities

Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

For more information on the tennis lessons at camp, please click here.

Tennis: 2 recreational group lessons each week
Swimming: recreational swim time in the club’s pool each day
Arts & Crafts
Group Games
Fun with Foods
STEM Challenges

Wacky Wednesday

Every Wednesday at camp is a wacky one with a different festive theme – a true highlight of each week! Check out this summer’s Wacky Wednesday Calendar!

Thankful Thursday

We are excited to announce the return of Thankful Thursdays into our camp program! In true camp spirit, every Thursday campers will have the chance to give back to their community by working together on a simple, fun and rewarding community service project. Check out this summer’s Thankful Thursday Calendar!

Lunch & Snacks

The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each morning and afternoon to all campers.

Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp.   We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts.   Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts.   If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Packing List

KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Extra Snacks (Optional)
Sunscreen: Spray for body is preferred
Swimsuit
Tennis Racquet (Optional)
Towel
Water Bottle

Payments, Cancellations, Refunds

Registration & Payments

Registration for Summer 2022 is now open to Club Members and their Guests. You must be enrolled in advance in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.

Full payment is due upon registration.  This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $42 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH Payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover. We encourage all families to pay via ACH as all credit card transactions will be subject to a 2.5% surcharge to offset the cost of credit card processing.

If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!

Cancellations & Refunds

All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at info@kecamps.com.  Cancellations made by June 12, 2022 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee).   After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.

Meet Your Camp Director

Dear Camp Families,

Hello and welcome to Camp Edgeworth! My name is Robert Towarnicki, and I am very excited to be your Camp Director for the summer of 2022. Our team and I strive to make our camp a fun, engaging, and safe space for our campers to grow each day with a focus on programs that are educational, social, and physical. I have no doubt that you will create many amazing memories during this summer, and it is my privilege to guide you. Before camp officially starts, let me introduce myself.

I am a teacher in the Avonworth School District, working with students between the ages of six and twelve. I have worked with numerous theater summer camps and have designed the technical elements of many children’s shows. I have degrees in History and Theater Arts and transitioned into the field of education, as I found that I could make the biggest difference by guiding students towards a brighter future.

From our Wacky Wednesdays to Thankful Thursdays, from the tennis courts to the swimming pool, I have no doubt that you will learn, grow, and have fun.

I can't wait to meet you all in person soon!

Robert Towarnicki
