All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.

Activities

Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

For more information on the golf and tennis lessons at camp, please click here.

Golf: 2 recreational group lessons each week
Tennis: 2 group recreational lessons with the club pros (For Full Day Campers only)
Swimming: recreational swimming in the club's pool each day (*Half Day Campers will only swim 2 days per week)

Group Games
Fun with Foods
STEM Challenges

Wacky Wednesdays

Every Wednesday at camp is a wacky one with a different festive theme – a true highlight of each week! Check out this summer’s Wacky Wednesday Calendar!

Thankful Thursdays

We are excited to announce the return of Thankful Thursdays into our camp program! In true camp spirit, every Thursday campers will have the chance to give back to their community by working together on a simple, fun and rewarding community service project. Check out this summer’s Thankful Thursday Calendar!

Lunch & Snacks

The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.

Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp.   We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts.   Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts.   If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Packing List

KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Extra Snacks (Optional)

Payments, Cancellations, Refunds

Registration & Payments

Registration for Summer 2021 is open and will continue until we are full.  So, you may add additional weeks as the summer goes on. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.

Full payment is due upon registration.  This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH Payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!

Cancellations & Refunds

All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at info@kecamps.com.  Cancellations made by June 20, 2021 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee).  After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.

Covid-19 Safety Policy

As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.

We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly!  We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Please find our 2021 Covid-19 Safety Policy here.

Meet Your Camp Director

Dear Campers and Families,

My name is Stephanie Walsh, and I am the new director of Camp CCF at Country Club of Fairfax. I am very excited to meet you and cannot wait for all the fun we will have this summer.

I was born and raised in New Jersey and attended college at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. Over the last nine years, I have worked as a secondary mathematics teacher in Maryland and Virginia for grades 7 – 12. I am currently studying to be an elementary Mathematics

Instructional Coach (I hope to graduate from my master’s program in December of this year). Throughout my professional career, I have worked with children of all ages and have learned that each child is unique and deserves to be treated with respect and compassion.

As a teacher, I understand that children never stop learning regardless of their environment. Their young minds are always at work. As the director of Camp CCF, I hope to spark their curiosity, inspire their creativity, and provide a safe and nurturing environment for them to grow and explore. I attended summer camp during my adolescence and still cherish those memories. It is my goal to ensure that all my campers experience the same joy and sense of community that I have come to associate with summer camp.

Outside of the classroom and camp, my interests include: reading, running, gardening, baking, Harry Potter, and all things Marvel. This year I plan to run my second half marathon and have been training with my husband to get my mile time to 9 minutes (I’m currently at 9:35).

I am so excited to serve as your director for Camp CCF and cannot wait to meet you all. See you at camp!

Sincerely,

Stephanie S. Walsh
