Club Registration Requirements
If you are not a Club Member of Brier Creek Country Club, you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp Brier Creek in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows Brier Creek Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.
Age Range: 4 - 10
All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
You have the option to purchase a kid-friendly lunch provided by the club for $25 per week. If you would like to purchase this option, you may do so during online enrollment. Otherwise, you are welcome to pack a lunch for your child.
A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Registration & Payments
Registration for Summer 2021 is open and will continue until we are full. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.
Full payment is due upon registration. This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!
Cancellations & Refunds
All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellations made by June 20, 2021 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee). After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.
Covid-19 Safety Policy
As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.
We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly! We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Meet Your Camp Director
My name is Mary Barber and I am so excited to be your camp director. During the fall, winter, and spring I am a high school English teacher at an independent school in Orange County. Our school is nestled into the woods and sometimes I feel like I am at camp all year long, which I love.
Camp is a big part of who I am. I have worked for camps in the mountains, on beaches, and at schools. Some camps were religiously affiliated, others were family camps, and one was for children with ADHD and learning disabilities. I have rafted, rock climbed, swam, hiked, canoed, and rappelled with campers as young as 8 and as old as 18. Adventure is all around us, and I look forward to exploring with your campers at Brier Creek.
Whether students are in my classroom or in my camp, I enjoy the reciprocal learning process. As a leader of youngin’s, we are so blessed to see the world through fresh eyes and to gain a renewed understanding of what it means to be a friend, to have fun, and to play. There is not a day that goes by in my school experience that I don’t uncover some new truth, and being able to carry over these experiences into the summer with children of a different age and life experience is a gift!
In my spare time, I love to take my dog, Gus, out on the local state park trails. We make a habit of hiking often; she particularly loves any trail near water. I also am a bit of a plant hoarder and tend to many house plants as well as continue to grow my garden outside. Providing care to a plant and watching it thrive, bloom, and sprout new leaves is almost meditative, and keeps me deeply connected to the outdoors.
This summer I hope to create, serve, and spread joy with your campers. We will engage in building community within our small camp. Connection has always been a big part of summer camp, and in a time such as this, it is that much more important. So, let’s get to it!
See you soon,
