Activities

Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.  The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

For more information on the golf and tennis lessons at camp, please click here.

Tennis: 2 recreational group lessons each week
Swimming: recreational swim time in the club’s pool each day

Wacky Wednesdays

Every Wednesday at camp is a wacky one with a different festive theme – a true highlight of each week! Check out this summer’s Wacky Wednesday Calendar!

Thankful Thursdays

We are excited to announce the return of Thankful Thursdays into our camp program! In true camp spirit, every Thursday campers will have the chance to give back to their community by working together on a simple, fun and rewarding community service project. Check out this summer’s Thankful Thursday Calendar!

Lunch & Snacks

The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day.

Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp.   We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Payments, Cancellations, Refunds

Registration & Payments

Registration for Summer 2022 will open on April 1, 2022 and will continue until we are full. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp.

Full payment is due upon registration.  This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $42. We accept ACH Payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.  We encourage all families to pay via ACH as all credit card transactions will be subject to a 2.5% surcharge to offset the cost of credit card processing.

If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!

Cancellations & Refunds

All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at info@kecamps.com. Cancellations made by June 13, 2022 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee).   After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.

Meet Your Camp Director

Dear Camp Families,

My name is Nicole Soderlind and I can’t wait to see you at camp this summer! I am currently a third-grade student teacher in Chicago Public Schools and will be graduating from Loyola University Chicago in May with a BA in Elementary Education. I absolutely love being an active member in my school community! Over the course of my one-year internship, I became involved in Drama Club, tutoring, and an overnight camping trip. My experience has been incredible so far and I’m so excited to be a part of another fun-filled program!

This summer, I am looking forward to being with the amazing, enthusiastic campers and fellow staff members. I remember my time as a camper and always enjoyed the fun activities and sports that I was able to participate in with my friends, especially team-building games! As your camp director, I want this summer to provide all campers with an unforgettable experience as they learn and try new things, make friends, and have fun! I am most excited to spend my time outdoors playing tennis and group games.

In my free time, I enjoy having picnics with my friends and family, hammocking, and listening to music. I cannot wait to meet you at camp! Let’s have an awesome summer.

See you soon!

Nicole Soderlind
