Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Covid-19 Safety Policy
As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.
We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly! We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
I am delighted to be your camp director at Indian Hill Club for Summer 2021! I have an interdisciplinary arts degree from Columbia College Chicago. My focus in school was psychology, dance, and social sciences and I will use those skills to foster creativity and relationships amongst campers. I love guiding kids to safely solve problems on their own and seeing the sense of accomplishment that comes from that.
I previously worked at the adult day program of NSSRA here in the northern suburbs and enjoyed taking my group on community outings, so maybe I’ve seen you around town! In my program leader position, I planned classes for a variety of interests such as cooking, fitness and games, dance, and art history. I know a little bit about a lot of topics and love to dive into new subjects to create fun activities I’ve never tried before.
I’ve also taught classes at a children’s gym, have worked extensively with children with special needs, and hope to become a pediatric occupational therapist in the future. My experiences have taught me how physical and emotional development are closely linked, and I feel that camp is so valuable in making that progress.
As a kid, I looked forward to attending Girl Scout resident camp every summer and became a counselor and program director for many years as a young adult. My favorite activities as a camper and staff were arts & crafts, canoeing, and themed nights where we would come to dinner in costume. I am looking forward having fun during Wacky Wednesdays and creating new camp traditions with our campers and counselors at KE Camps.
My current hobbies are crafting, listening to podcasts, and hiking. My favorite nearby hiking spot is Matthiessen State Park because it’s less crowded than Starved Rock, but just as close to Chicago. I also enjoy trying new foods, but my favorite meal is a classic- burger and fries.
I am excited to spend the summer outside and to have new experiences with my campers!
